Be the Inspiration

Our internal influences are the worst enemies we will ever face.  Sometimes life seems impossible, especially when the world drops dead ends on every pathway and purpose we pursue.  It hurts when we step on sticks and trip over fallen trees. Falling into the bushes and weeds can cause us to bleed, especially if we are stuck with thorns and things.

These tribulations are trials leading us toward triumph.  They thicken our skin so we may brave the vampire’s bite, face our fears, and free our spirit from the shackles of suffering.  Pain is a part of life; this is a truth we must all learn to live with.  It is a beautiful blessing that when taken in proper dosages can serve as the catalyst for change.  When our stress barrel swells and spills it reveals a fork in our path.  Every journey inevitably approaches a crossroad, and these split decisions are blessings in wolf’s clothing. We can trek the path of the red devil or turn toward truth.  When we choose to see our obfuscated realities it reveals the reason our journey has been so bleak.

How do we witness clarity in our moments of mystery?

Is there a way of knowing which direction will grant our life a much-needed correction?  What steps must we take to make the right decision?

As massage therapists we are emotional creatures, our internal influences are often chaotic, so what must we do when everything feels like it is becoming unglued?

We must regain our footing to rediscover the joy of our gifts.

Take some time to remember the pleasure of giving to others for goodness’ sake, the greatness of guiding people toward peace, and the happiness experienced when we encourage harmony.

In the moments we feel like broken beings it is easy to succumb to the venom of our vampiric peers.  In these times we need to witness the beauty in every sensational second and give love.

Our dark parts often blind us when we are hurting, it shuts down our ability to believe people are inherently good.  We peel the wings off angels, stain their skin red and tape horns to their head.  As we do this we forget our own quirks, ineptitudes, and bias.  Standing atop our glass palace we cast the first stone, because we believe our cause is righteous and good.  Somehow we begin to think we are without fault and start blaming the world for all our woes.

If we seek to take the right path at the fork, we must evaluate our internal influences.  We must strip away our selfish desires and replace them with empathy and humility.  We can know we are off course if all we focus on is the capital “I”.  If our reality is shaped by a single lens, we can be certain we are headed toward darker times.  In these seconds we must see the world through someone else’s eyes.

When our sacrifices become the only sights we see, it seals us away from allowing others to be free.  It locks the doorway to our dreams, and it pushes us to inflict suffering.  We must hold onto the key to achieve our destiny.  Every action we take has to be infused with humility, empathy, and creativity.  With this harmony we will have the ability to select the right road and guide others toward greatness.
